Good Afternoon, Southwest Michigan! In this special edition of FIRST & 42, we’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday by highlighting some of the biggest fireworks, festivals, concerts, parades, and community gatherings happening across Southwest Michigan. Our lead feature, America 250: Where to Celebrate, brings together standout events across the region and shows how communities are coming together to mark this historic milestone. We’re also highlighting Fibrosan’s plans to bring 32 new jobs to Cassopolis, sharing how the Kalamazoo Event Center is bringing its story to life through a new docuseries, and inviting the community to celebrate 100 years of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation's impact on Friday, July 10. As always, keep scrolling for upcoming events, opportunities to connect, and more ways to experience what’s happening across Southwest Michigan.
From all of us at Southwest Michigan First, we wish you a safe, fun, and meaningful Fourth of July!
